Crime Report on Nov. 06, 2018

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 325/18 has been registered at PS West Shimla on 06.11.2018 U/S 279 504 506 IPC on the statement of Sh. Preet Inder Singh Thakur S/o Sh. Devinder Singh Thakur R/o Village & PO Basha, Tehsil Kandaghat, District Solan, age 40 years stated therein that on 05.11.2018, he was at Khwara Chowki near Shoghi in connection with maintenance work of his Tipper No. HP63B-2411. At about 05-30 PM, one Private Bus No. HP51B-0579, driven by Kailash Chand S/o Laxmi Nand R/o Village & PO Piplughat, Tehsil Arki, District Solan, age 22 years, came rashly with negligent driving from Solan side and hit his Tipper. After some time Bus owner namely Capt. Shyam Singh, reached at the spot and started to abuse him  and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Rajender Kumar, I/O PS West Shimla.    

2. During last 24 hours 265 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 147, fine realized Rs. 64,800/- and 22 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2200/-.

Crime report on, November, 05,2018

1.   A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 219/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 04.11.2018 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Chet Ram, I/C PP Deha (Theog) alleging therein that on 04.11.2018 at 09-50 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff one person namely Vinod Kumar S/o Sh. Gyani Ram R/o Village Bahaldhar, PO Dewat, Tehsil Chopal, District Shimla, age 38 years, intercepted by them & recovered 930 Gram Charas from his possession.  The case is being investigated by ASI Chet Ram, I/O PP Deha (Theog). 

2.   AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 117/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 04.11.18 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Ajeet Singh, I/C PP Sainj, Kumarsain alleing threrein that on 04.11.2018 at about 05-20 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff at  Sainj Nalah, one person namely Santosh Kumar S/o Sh. Jindu Ram R/o Village Bachhouri, PO Luhri, Tehsil Anni, District Kullu, age 40 years apprehended by them alongwith 12 Bottles of Country  liquor. The case is being investigated by ASI Ajeet Singh, I/C PP Sainj (Kumarsain).  

3.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 323/18 has been registered at PS West Shimla on 04.11.2018 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Ram Swaroop S/o SH. Jeet R/o Village Hiyun PO Rauri Tehsil & District Shimla alleging therein that on 04.11.2018 at about 02-45 PM, one Maruti Car No. HP52A-6018 met with an accident and rolled down toward Karond Road. In this accident, one person namely Surender Thakur S/o Lt. Sh. Jeet Ram R/o Village Neri, PO Bhont, Shimla died on the spot and another Sanjay Thakur sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Mehar Singh, I/O PP Summer Hill, Shimla.

4.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 118/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 04.11.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Honey Sharma S/o Sh. Raj Kumar Sharma R/o Village Lalsa, PO Dansa, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 19 years stated therein that on 04.11.2018, he along-with his friend namely Sahil S/o Sh. Kehar Singh R/o Village Chuhabag, PO Khaneri Tehsil Rampur, Shimla were going towards Rampur from Shimla in his Motorcycle No. HP26A-1220. At about 06-30 PM, as they reached near Bhanoli, at the same time one car came rashly with negligent driving and after hit his motorcycle run away from the spot. In this accident, they both sustained injury. The case is being investigated by HC Rajesh, I/O PS Kumarsain.   

5.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 111/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 04.11.18 U/S 279  IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Amolak Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Kalu Ram R/o Village Nanahan PO Jeori, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla stated therein that on 05.11.2018, one HRTC Bus No. HP06A-1152 came rashly with negligent driving and hit his car No. HP06A-2740, parked at Nanahan Curve. The case is being investigated by ASI Bir Singh, I/O PS Jhakri.

6.   A FIRE INCIDENT: Case FIR No. 130/18 has been registered at PS East Shimla on 05.11.2018 U/S 285 427 IPC on the statement of Sh. Nasheer S/o Sh. Safed Shah R/o Alley No. 6, House No. 65, Kalola Prishtha, Kabul Afganistan A/P Student of MBA-II year, APG University, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 04/05.11.2018, some unknown person has set a fire in his Motorcycle No. CH01BF-2760 & another motorcycle No. CH01BH-2453 of his friend Makbool and damaged these motorcycles badly. The case is being investigated by ASI Prem Singh, I/C PP Kasumpti.

7.   During last 24 hours 251 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 83, fine realized Rs. 27,100/- and 26 Persons challaned underSmoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2700/-.

On 05.11.2018, an unidentified male dead body, age 25/30 years found dead at village Badagaon, PO Rajhana, Shimla in the jurisdiction of PS New Shimla. Proceeding u/S 174 Cr.PC is being carried out by HC Mahender No. 1684, I/O PS New Shimla.

1.   A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 218/18 has been registered atPS Theog on 02.11.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Sanjay Kumar, I/O PS Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 02.11.2018 at about 07-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Harish S/o Sh. Jeet Ram R/o Village Dewarighat, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla intercepted by them near Sariwan Curve and during the search 4 Gram Chitta (Heroin) recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjay Kumar No. 120, I/O PS Theog.

2.   AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 103/18 has beenr registered at PS Chirgaon on 02.11.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI/SHO PS Chirgaon alleging therein that on 02.11.2018 at about 05-40 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Prem Khatri S/o Sh. Buda  R/o Village Linga, PO Khalnga, Anchal Rapti Nepal A/P working as a labourer with Purshotam Singh R/o Village Diswani, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla apprehended by them near Diswani Bridge and during the search 12 Bottles of Country liquor has been recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Chirgaon.

3.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 110/18 has been registered atPS Jhakri on 02.11.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SHO PS Jhakri alleing therein that on 02.11.2018, during patrolling alongwith staff, 17 Bottles of Country liquorhas been recovered from the possession of Mohan Singh S/o Sh. Gopal Singh R/o Villoage Koshgar PO Majhewali, Tehsil Rampur District Shimlal. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Jhakri.

4.   AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 246/18 has been registered atPS Sadar Shimla on 02.11.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Madan Lal, I/C PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla alleging therein that on 02.11.2018, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Longwood, Bharari etc. At about 08-30 PM, on the secret information, a raid has been conducted in the shop of Ramesh Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Ami Chand R/o Kodumal Building, Upper Bharari, Shimla and  recovered 10 Bottles of English & 03 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being  investigated by I/C PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.

5.   A CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST: Case FIR No. 98/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 02.11.2018 U/S 407 IPC o9n the statement of Sh. Kishori Lal S/o Lt. Sh. Joban Dass R/o Village Shilar PO Nandpur Tehsil Jubbal, District Shimla stated therein that on 19.09.2018, he loaded 285 full & 179 Half Boxes of Royal, 64 full & 64 half boxes of Golden in Truck No. HR45C-6209 and sent to Dinesh Prog. PFT Ahmedabad. But the above truck was not reached at the destination till now. The case is being investigated by ASI Sohan La, I/C PP Sarswati nagar, Jubbal.

HP06A-1217 met with an accident near Pashada Khad due to rash & negligent driving of Aakash S/o Sh. Sanjay Maan R/o Village Dakolar, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, sustained injuries to him. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 72/18 has been registered at PS Nerwa Shimla on 30.10.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act IPChas been registred on the rukka  of SI/SHO Kulwant Singh, PS Nerwa alleging theirin that on 30.10.2018 during patrolling along with staff one person namely Daleep singh S/O Sh. Lagnu Ram R/O Village Sailpav,Po Kulag, Tehsil Kupvi, District Shimla apprehended by them near SBI Nerwa and recovered12 bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The Case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Nerwa.  

AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No 96/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 30.10.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI/SHO PS Jubbal alleging theirin that on 30.10.2018  the secret information a raid has been conducted in the Hotel of Yogesh Kumar S/O Sh. Mohan Singh R/O Village Sirthi, Tehsil Jubbal, District Shimla and recovered 05 bottles of English liquorfrom his possession. The Case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Jubbal.

AN EXCISE ACT:Case FIR No.   52/18 has been registered at PS Kupvi on  Dt. 30.10.18 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Ravinder Lal SHO PS Kupvi alleging theirin that during patrolling along with staff  12 Bottles of Country liquor recovered from the possession of Gian Chand  S/O Sh. Roop Singh R/O Village & PO Jhokhar, Tehsil Kupvi, District Shimla. The Case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Kupvi.

A MISCHIEF BY FIRE: Case FIR No. 243/18 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 31.10.2018 U/S 436 IPC on the statement of Sh. Hamider Singh S/o Sh. Mohan Lal R/o Lata Niwas, SDA Colony, near Block No. C27, Tehsil & District Shimla, age 27 year stated therein that today on 31.10.2018 at about 06-30 AM, a fire has been broken outside near ECG Room in old building of DDU ZH Shimla. When he estiguished the fire and found that some unknown person has set a fire with the help of Kerosene oil near Building. The case is being investigated by ASI Naseeb Singh, I/O PS Sadar Shimla.

Further proceeding U/S 174 CrPC is going on at PS West.

AN ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 161/18 has been registerered at PS Rampur on 29.10.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Sher Singh, I/O PS Rampur alleging therein that on 29.10.2018 at about 07-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff near Pipty, three persons namely i) Gaurav S/o Sh. Joginder Pal R/o Village & PO Nogli, Tehsil Rampur, District Shimla, and Gaurav Sharma S/o Sh. AN ACCIDENT : Case FIR No 113/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 29-10-18 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Devraj S/o Sh. Sarsu Ram R/o Summa P/o Ogli PS Sunni Distt Shimla age 33 years alleging therein that on 29.10.2018 at about 07.45 AM near Kingal a Boleno car No HP 03(t)-4108 collied with Scooty No HP95-0298 in which a person namely Lobh Ram S/o Sh. Kewl Ram R/o Maholi, P/o Teshan Tehsil Kumarsain Distt. Shimla sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Susheel I/O PS Kumarsain.

AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No.224/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 30.10.2018 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV act on the statement of Sh Piyush Verma S/o Sh Devinder Verma C/o Deepak Cottage Bharari Shimla A/P working as a private bus river in Shimla alleging therein that on 30.10.2018 an un identityfied I-20 white colar car came rashly near LPG Gas Godown Nav Bahar and hit his bus conductor from back side in which  sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Sohan Lal I/o PS Dhalli.  

AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No.225/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 30.10.2018 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV act on the statement of Sh Rajeev Chauhan S/o Sh Lacchi Ram  R/o village chillah P/o Devthi Tehsil Theog District Shimla A/P working as a Agent at Fruit Mandi Dhalli  Shimla alleging therein that on 29.10.2018 an un identityfied white colar car came rashly at Sanjauli and hit him from back side  and runaway from the spot in which he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Sohan Lal I/o PP Sanjauli.

AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 160/18 has been registrred at PS Rampur on 29.10.2018 U/S 279,304A IPC on the statement of Smt. Sandhira W/O Sh. Sanjeev Kumar Vill. Bashri PO Narain Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla alleging there in that today at about 6.30 am one van No HP 10B-2971 met with an accident in which one person  namely Dinesh S/O Sh. Karam Dass Vill. Peja Chirgaon Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla died on the spot. This accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving of Van Driver.The Case is being investigating by HC Kartar Singh I/O PS Rampur.

AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 129/18 has been registered atPS Shimla East on 27.10.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vivek Sood S/o Sh. Ram Chander Sood R/o 3^rd Floor, Gobil Niwas, opposite Himland Hotel, Tehsil & District Shimla stated therein that on the intervening night of 26/27.10.2018 at about 12-45 AM, one vehicle No. HP03C-5634 (Honda City) met with an accident outside his house and rolled down on the road due to rash & negligent driving of Sachin. In this accident, Sachin, his wife & two children sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Anil, I/O PS East.   

AN ACCIDENT :Case FIR No. 216/18 has been registered atPS Theog on 26.10.18 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Bhag Chand S/o Sh Rati Ram R/o village Aloti P/o Satog Tehsil Theog Distric Shimla alleging therein that on 26.10.2018 a vehicle No. HP 03C 3078  met with an accident at Shaina in which two persons Raju and Rampal died on the spot and two other persons Suresh and Shera sustained injuries. In this accident, three persons namely Vicky, Kamaljeet & Hem Raj sustained injuries. Car driver Vicky run away from the spot. 1.  A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 301/18 has been registered at PS West on 16.10.18 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Rajender Kumar, I/O PS West Shimla alleging therein that on 16.10.2018 at about 03-40 PM, during Nakabandi/Traffic Checking duty on Taradevi-Totu Bypass Road 100 meter ahead from Junkyard, one Car No. HP33E(T)9478 (Tata Zest) stopped by them for checking. During the search, 1.755 Kg. Charas recovered from the Dash Board of above vehicle under the possession of car driver namely Anil Makkad S/o Sh. Bhagwan Dass R/o Village Ropari, Tehsil Anni, District Kullu, HP, age 22 years. Accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by HC Rajender Kumar No. 59, I/O PS West Shimla.

2.  A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 304/18 has been registered at PS West today on 17.10.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Sushil Kumar, I/O SIU, Shimla alleging therein that on 16.10.2018 at about 07-45 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff at Shoghi Bazar, a Private Bus came from Solan to Shimla, stopped at Shoghi, whereby a person namely Ravi Kumar S/o Sh. Inder Singh R/O Village Shallan PO Pujarli NOo. 2, Tehsil Rohru District Shimla alleging therein that Shiv Raman owner of R.I. Fruits company 500 Big Bazaar Street Coimbatore purchased apple from his apple company New Mahalaxmi Fruits company Rohru. The payment of 5000 thousands apple boxes approximately value Rs. 44,53,950/-is pending on above company. But now above person Shiv Raman  left his business from the sabzi Mandi Rohru without made his payment  and his mobile was coming switched off. 4.  AN ANIMAL CRUELTY ACT: Case FIR No. 118/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 16.10.18 U/S 11 Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act on the rukka of HC Naresh, I/O PS Chopal, Shmla alleging therein that during nakabandi alongwith staff, one Pick-UP No. HP16-7361, which was coming from Reuni, stopped by them for checking and 05 Cattles were found loaded in the Pick-Up, out of which one had died. 5.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 233/18 has been registered atPS Sadar Shimla on 16.10.2018 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of HHG Bhagat Ram A/P posted as Guard duty at the Residence of Dy. Commissioner, Shimla stated therein that on 16.10.2018, he was on shift duty from 06-00 PM to 09-00 PM. At about 07-30 PM, one vehicle No. DL9CG-5244 driven by Jagat Singh R/o Dev Bhawan, near Old Beerkhana, near Gurudwara Shmla, came rashly with negligent driving from Hotel Dreamland side and hit with wall by breaking the main gate of DC Residence.

Tek Bahadur R/o Nishikot Anchal Dhaulagiri, Distt. Megdi, Nepal, age 3 years and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Deepak, I/O PS Chirgaon.

On the doubt during search 1.147 KG Charas recovered from his possession. Accused has been arrested and  case is being investigated by I/C PP Deha.

A ND&PS Act Case FIR No. 300/18 has been registered on at PS West today on 14.10.2018 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the ruka of ASI Suresh Kumar incharge PP Dhami alleging therein that today on 14.10.2018 at about 04.30 PM, during patrolling and traffic checking along with staff at Nichli Tikkri, two persons riding on motorcycle No. HP34B-2710 intercepted by them, on the inquiry they told their name as Daleep Kumar S/o Sh. Nathu Ram R/o Village Tihni, PO Sus, Tehsil Anni, Distt Kullu, HP age 32 years and Uttam Ram S/o Sh. Dharam Dass R/o Village Manchhani, PO Kothi, Tehsil Anni, Distt Kullu, HP age 25 and recovered 1.600 KG Charas recovered from their possession. Accused have been arrested and  case is being investigated by ASI Suresh Kumar incharge PP Dhami, PS West, Shimla.

AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 56/18 has been registered at PS Sunni on 13.10.2018 U/S 279 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh Rupender Singh S/O Sh.Gita Ram R/O Sakrori PO Chaba Teh. Sunni alleging therein that at about 1.30 PM his known Suresh Verma R/O Gadahu P/O Gadheri came in his Car No H.P.03 C 2420 along with his 4 friends came in his Dhaba & eat Maggie. After some time his 3 friends went towards Shimla & after that Suresh Verma along with his cousin Dinesh Kumar went toward Jaishi. After some time an information received on telephone that at khaira road towards Bharara some vehicles and persons stopped on road and it seems something happened. He reached on spot and saw that some persons brought a injured from down side, he identified him as Dinesh Kumar, who went with Suresh Verma in his car. Said Suresh Verma found dead on spot. This accident happened due to rash and negligent driving of diseased Suresh Verma. The case investigated by S.H.O. P.S. Sunni.

1.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 110/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 12.10.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Adam Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Balak Ram R/o Village Kanrot, PO Halnidhar, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla stated therein that on 12.10.2018 at about 10-30 PM, one vehicle No. HP62-4660 (Pick-UP) met with an accident at Firnu Mod and rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Perminder @ Pummy. In this accident, one person namely Sanjeev Dogra S/o Sh. Amar Singh Dogra R/o Village Kanrot, PO Halnidhar, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla, age 36 years, died on the spot and driver Parminder @ Pummy sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Devraj, I/O PP Narkanda.

2.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 125/18 has been registered at PS East Shimla on 12.10.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Narender Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. 1.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 298/18 has been registered at PS West Shimla on 11.10.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sushil Kumar S/o Sh. Lachhi Ram R/o Village Chaukhla, PO Damkadi, Tehsil & District Solan, Age 53 years stated therein that he is driver in Pvt. Bus No. HP64E-8999, since last 15 years. On 11.10.2018, he was going on his route from Shimla to Solan. At about 05-20 PM, when they reached near Shoghi, at the same time, a Alto Car No. HP03B-0482 driven by Mohan Lal Dogra R/o Shanti Niwas, Kamna Nagar, Chakkar, Shimla, came rashly with negligent driving in wrong direction and hit with his bus, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by SI Vijay Kumar, I/O PS West Shimla.  

2.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 92/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 12.10.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Balbir Singh Chaudhari S/o Sh. Hakkam Singh R/o Village Tayar, PO Khurain Tehsil Bangana District Una A/P Dhaba owner at Anti Tehsil Jubbal Shimla stated therein that on 12.10.2018 at about 09-45 AM, he alongwith his daughter were stood on the roadside at Anti Bazar. At the same time, one A/F Tipper came rashly with negligent driving from Hatkoti side and hit him and his daughter, sustained injuries to them.
