Crime Report on Nov. 01, 2018 - Shimla Now

1.  A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 217/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 31.10.2018 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Sushil Kumar, I/O SIU, Shimla alleging therein that on 31.10.2018 at about 04-45 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Ramesh Verma S/o Sh. Mast Ram Verma R/o Village Jandal Kiar, Kandru, Tehsil Theog, Distrit Shimla, age 30 years, intercepted by them near Balog ghati and during the search, 1.103 Kg. Charas recovered from his possession. Accused has been arrested by the police and further investigation is being carried out by ASI Kuldeep Chand, I/O PS Theog.

2.  AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No.   59/18 has been registered at PS Nankhari  on 31.10.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Chaman Lal Negi, SHO PS Nankhari, Shimla alleing therein that on 31.10.2018 at about 07-30 PM, on the secret information, a raid has been conducted in the shop of Sanjeev Kumar S/o Sh. Ram Lal R/o Bainal, PO Khadahan, Nankhari and  recovered 06 Bottles of Country Liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI/SHO PS Nankhari.

3.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 162/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 01.11.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Arun Mehta S/o Sh. Om Prakash Mehta R/o Village & PO Khaneri, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 31.10.2018 at about 09-00 PM, a Tipper no. HP06A-1217 met with an accident near Pashada Khad due to rash & negligent driving of Aakash S/o Sh. Sanjay Maan R/o Village Dakolar, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by SI Sher Singh, I/O PS Rampur.

4.  During last 24 hours 372 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 153,  fine realized Rs. 69,800/- and 17 Persons challaned underSmoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,700/-.

Charan Dass R/o Village Shah, PO Dofda Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No.158/18 Dt. 27.10.2018 U/S 20,29,60 ND&PS Act at PS Rampur, are remanded in police custody upto 03.11.2018, by the Ld Court.

2.  Accused Vishwas Sagar  S/o Sh. Prakash Chand R/o Pahari Darwaja, Dhampur, Bijnaur, UP, arrested in case FIR No. 240/18 Dt. 28.10.2018 U/S 336 506 IPC atPS Sadar, is being produced before the Ld. Court today.    

3.  Accused i) Ganga Ram S/o Sh. Prem Singh R/o  House No. 24-25, Gali No.-14, Madorband Extension,PO Badarpur, District South, Delhi & ii) Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Manohar Lal R/o House No. 24-25, Gali No.-14, Madorband Extension,PO Badarpur, District South, Delhi, arrested in case FIR No. 215/18 U/S 366, 34 IPC at PS Theog, are remanded in police custody upto 02.11.2018, by the Ld. Court.

4.  Accused Ramesh Verma S/o Sh. Mast Ram Verma R/o Village Jandal Kiar, Kandru, Tehsil Theog, Distrit Shimla, age 30 years, arrested in case FIR No. 217/18 Dt. 31.10.2018 U/S 20 ND&PS Act at PS Theog, is remanded in police custody upto 05.11.2018, by the Ld. Court.
