The Public Works Department (PWD) has begun the spadework for the construction of a helipad near the Chintpurni shrine to begin heli-taxi services for tourists and devotees. The helipad was announced by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on November 5, 2018, during his visit to the shrine. Executive Engineer HL Sharma of Bharwain's PWD division said an eight-kanal plot measuring 50 by 60 metres in Dhalwari village, around 2 km from Chintpurni, had been allotted to the Tourism Department for the construction of a helipad.

The Executive Engineer said there was a provision of a waiting room and a cafeteria besides civic amenities at the helipad, adding that the drawings had been approved by the office of the PWD Chief Architect and were expected to reach his office by next week.

Sharma said the drawings would be forwarded to the Tourism Department for approval. Once approved, a detailed project report would be formulated and funds requisitioned from the department to begin work.
