State govt. led by CM Jai Ram Thakur has taken yet another step where the govt is seeking public participation in the budget-making process. Earlier too many such incidents have come to the fore where state govt has asked for public opinion.
Following the footsteps of Central Govt. where Prime Minister Narendra Modi takes the opinion of the general public before making the budget, Jairam government of the state has also started the budget-making process for the year 2020-21 and have asked for the active public participation.
All citizens can send their suggestions by 24 December 2019 and can send their suggestions by writing to this given email address (budgetindia.hp@gmail.com) To make the Budget more public-centric, the involvement of various stakeholders of the society and ideas in the budget is necessary. Therefore, the government has invited suggestions for the budget from the general public, industries, business houses, farmers and from every section of the society.
