BJP should work on NRU, says Sewa Dal

The BJP-led Central government should work on making National Register of Unemployment (NRU) instead of National Register of Citizenship. This was stated by Rajeev Chopra, district president of Congress Sewa Dal, here today in his maiden interaction after being appointed as district chief.

He said the country was burning and the BJP governments at the Centre and state were busy in diverting the attention of public from the core issues of price hike, unemployment and poor growth of the GDP. He said the development of the state had come to a halt and many projects announced by the BJP were yet to see the light of day.

He said that the BJP was representing Hamirpur constituency in the state assembly and Parliament for the last three decades but neither construction of bus stand had started nor even a single brick was laid for the construction of medical college at the identified land. mdash; OC
