The Tourist Facility Centre, constructed at a cost of about Rs50 crore with the assistance of Asian Development Bank in Chintpurni has been lying unused ever since its inauguration in July 2017. Food courts, waiting halls and meditation centres are yet to be put to use. Public money has been spent mindlessly.

Kharoh residents demandnbsp;road connectivity
Residents of Kharoh village in Una are deprived of road connectivity. I met with an accident a few days ago and wanted to stay at my maternal house, but in the absence of road connectivity, I was unable to reach my home. The villagersquo;s population is 1,000, still the authorities are not taking any steps to construct a road here. In a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minster Jai Ram Thakur, a woman has urged them to provide road connectivity so that the ailing, sick and elderly are able to get timely medical intervention.
