State’s efforts in organising investors meet lauded

Shimla: UAE Ambassador to India Dr Ahmed Al Banna has appreciated the efforts of the state government in meticulously organising Global Investors Meet at Dharamsala. In a letter addressed to Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, he said the meet had not only created an ideal platform for exchange of views and opportunities, but also opened newer channels of communication. Praising the efforts of the state, he said, “I firmly believe that under your steering and visionary leadership, the state is poised to grow like never before in terms of attracting and facilitating foreign investment”. Banna has expressed hope that there were synergies for cooperation between the UAE and Himachal, especially in the area of agro and food processing, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, renewable energy, hospitality, health care and wellness, etc. — TNS
