Inculcate high values in future generation: Governor - Shimla Now

Presiding over the state level prize distribution function organized by Himachal Pradesh Gayatri Parivar, here today, Governor Acharya Devvrat said that conscientious individual was the real legacy of any nation and it was our responsibility to inculcate power of strong ideas to the future generation and provide them the knowledge of our rich culture and values.
Appreciating the efforts of Gayatri Parivar for doing significant mission of restoration of Vedic culture, he said, "The way, Acharya Ram ji Sharma has presented contemplation before us, is really philanthropic and has ensured human welfare." He added that he had carried on the thoughts of Swami Dayanand Saraswati and dedicated his life to the cause of humanity.
The Governor gave away the prizes to the students on this occasion.
Earlier, the Chief Trustee of Himachal Pradesh Gayatri Parivar V.K. Bhatnagar welcomed the Governor and said that various activities were being implemented in the State from the last 20 years.
