Rains pick momentum in Pune, catchment areas yet to catch up

Pune witnessed rains on Tuesday with the city recording 2.2 mm rainfall, while Lohegaon witnessed 18 mm rainfall. The southwest monsoon has further advanced into the remaining parts of Madhya Maharashtra, East Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and most parts of West Madhya Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and entire Jammu and Kashmir and some more parts of West Uttar Pradesh.
