Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh have felicitated the people of the State, especially the Christian brethren on the occasion of Christmas.
Acharya Devvrat said that the Christmas was the reminder of the profound message of Lord Jesus Christ of spreading universal brotherhood. He said this festival inspire us on the path of mutual understanding and to live in harmony.
Virbhadra Singh has also extended greetings to the members of the Christian community on the occasion. He expressed hope that the holy occasion of Christmas would rekindle the spirit of love, joy and compassion besides promoting unity and brotherhood in the society. He said that Lord Jesus preached tolerance, equality and love for every individual which needed to be followed in day-to-day life.
