Vice President of India Mohammad Hamid Ansari was given a warm send off at Annadale helipad, Shimla today after his three days visit to Himachal Pradesh from 8th to 10th June, 2015.
Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, Irrigation and Public Health Minister Vidya Stokes, Health and Family Welfare Minister Kaul Singh Thakur, Industries Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dhani Ram Shandil, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anil Sharma, Mayor, Municipal Corporation Shimla Sanjay Chauhan and Deputy Mayor Tikender Panwar, Chief Secretary P. Mitra, Director General of Police Sanjay Kumar, other dignitaries and senior officers of the State Government were present among others.
Earlier, The Vice President was given farewell by Governor Kalyan Singh at Raj Bhawan Shimla.
