Dhumal entitled to protection: Governor says his predecessor did not express opinion on merits of the case

While the state vigilance bureau has filed chargesheet in the court against former Himachal Pradesh chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal for withdrawing resignation of former IPS officer AN Sharma during the previous BJP regime, governor Kalyan Singh has observed that Dhumal is entitled to protection under Section 197 of CrPC.
