Local holiday in Shimla MC area on 24 October

Himachal Pradesh Government has declared 24^th October, 2014 (Govardhan Pooja) as a local holiday for the employees working in all Government Offices, Boards, Corporations and Educational Institutions falling within limits of Shimla Municipal Corporation

As per the notification issued today this holiday will not be applicable to daily wage employees and also not be the holiday within the meaning of Section-25 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
