Cabinet nod to emergency, medicine depts at IGMC, TMC

Shimla - Himachal cabinet today decided to open separate ‘Emergency Medicine’ departments in Indira Gandhi Medical College in Shimla and Dr RP Medical College of Tanda (Kangra). It also decided to regularize the services of 34 employees, recruited through Rogi Kalyan Samitis (RKS) in these colleges. The cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh also approved upgradation of Community Health Centre at Jaisinghpur in district Kangra to 100-bedded Civil Hospital and to upgrade the Community Health Centre, Sujanpur to Civil Hospital. It also approved opening of Primary Health Centres (PHC) at Balag, Kalhani in Chachiyot, Basantpur in Arki, Deori Khaneti in Ramnagar, Bakhol in Shimla, Susnal, Karyalag in Ghumarwin at Basoli (Peernigaha) in Una and Phansha in Rampur.
The Cabinet gave its nod to issue No Objection Certificate (NOC) in favour of Priyadarshanai Institute of Nursing, Rait, in Shahpur for starting GNM and B.SC (N) courses with 40 seats in each course. Nod was given to provide uniforms to the school students of class 1st to class 10th under ‘Mahatma Gandhi Vardi Yojna’. The cabinet also approved the proposal to give relaxation in planning permission case for construction of proposed Circuit house at Willey Park in Chaura Maidan, Shimla. Approval was accorded to fell/remove or lopping of as many as 97 trees posing threat to life and property, within Shimla Municipal Corporation (SMC) limits. The Cabinet approved amendments to Himachal Pradesh Town and Country Planning Rules, 2014 and decided to invite objections/suggestions for amendment of TCP rules in wake of online services introduced by the department and amendments made in TCP Act in budget session.  The Cabinet also gave its approval to amend the common Recruitment and Promotion Rules for the post of Private Secretary, Class-I (Gazetted).
