A local court has sent fraud accused Kunal Kaushik to five-day police custody. Chamba Superintendent of Police Dr Monika Bhutunguru said an FIR was registered against him at the Chamba police station.
The complainant had told the police that the accused had duped him of Rs 93 lakh.
Kaushik was arrested from Noida with seven ATM cards, 21 cheque books, one laptop with data of fake cheques, receipts given to victims, 12 mobile phones, Rs 81,000 and two cars, including a Swift and a Fortuner. mdash; OC
