कारगिल विजय दिवस रजत जयंती महोत्सव

शिमला स्थित मुख्यालय सेना प्रशिक्षण कमान के द्वारा कारगिल विजय के 25 वर्ष पूरे होने के उपलक्ष्य में 24-25 जुलाई 2024 को द रिज, शिमला में' कारगिल विजय दिवस रजत जयंती महोत्सव' मनाया जा रहा है। ऑपरेशन विजय में सर्वोच्च बलिदान देने वाले बहादुरों को सम्मानित करने के लिए कई कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं।वीरता पुरस्कार विजेताओं द्वारा शिमला के स्कूलों में प्रेरकवार्ता भी आयोजित की जा रही है। इसका उद्देश्य हमारी युवा पीढ़ी को 'कारगिल विजय दिवस' के महत्व से अवगत कराना और भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों की बहादुरी भरी कार्रवाइयों को याद करना है। हाल के दिनों में शिमला में अपनी तरह का यह पहला आयोजन, आयोजित किया जा रहा है। इन कार्यक्रमों में सेना के हथियार और उपकरण प्रदर्शन, मुफ्त चिकित्सा शिविर, 'अपनी सेना को जानें' की प्रदर्शनी, प्रेरणा और जागरूकता स्टॉल, स्कूली बच्चों द्वारा कारगिल दिवस पर कविता, पाइप और सिम्फनी बैंड तथा मल्टीपर्पज हॉल, गेयटी थिएटर में सांस्कृतिक और संगीतमय प्रस्तुति शामिल हैं। इसके अलावा भारतीय सेना में भर्ती होने की जानकारी सहित विभिन्न स्टॉल लगाए जा रहे हैं।

 

      कारगिल युद्ध में पाकिस्तान पर भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों की जीत के उपलक्ष्य में हर साल 26 जुलाई को कारगिल विजय दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। कारगिल युद्ध 03 मई 1999 को भारत के जम्मू-कश्मीर के कारगिल जिले में शुरू हुआ और 26 जुलाई 1999 को भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों की शानदार जीत के साथ समाप्त हुआ।सेना प्रशिक्षण कमान ने नागरिक आबादी को भारतीय सैनिकों की अदम्य बहादुरी और साहस को फिर से जीने के लिए विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों की योजना बनाई/आयोजित की है। यह कार्यक्रम आम जनता के लिए भी है।

KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS RAJAT JAYANTI MAHOTSAV

Headquarter Army Training Command located at Shimla is celebrating 'KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS RAJAT JAYANTI MAHOTSAV' at The Ridge, Shimla on 24-25 July 2024 to commemorate 25 years of the Kargil victory. Multitude of events are being conducted to honor the Brave hearts who made the supreme sacrifice in OP VIJAY. Motivational talks are also being conducted in schools at Shimla by Gallantry Award winners. The aim is to make our young generation aware of the importance of 'KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS' and recount the brave actions of the Indian Armed Forces.A first of its kind event in Shimla in recent times, the events being organised include Army Weapons and Equipment Display, free Medical Camp, 'KNOW YOUR ARMY' Exhibition, Motivation & Awareness Stalls, Poetry on Kargil Diwas by school children, pipe & symphony band and Cultural & Musical presentation at Multipurpose Hall, Gaiety Theatre. In addition, various stalls are being established, including information on joining the Indian Army.

 

          26 July is observed as Kargil Vijay Diwas every year to commemorate the Victory of Indian Armed Forces over Pakistan in the Kargil War. The Kargil war began on 03 May 1999, in the Kargil District of J&K, India and concluded on 26 July 1999 with a resounding victory of Indian Armed Forces. Army Training Command has planned/conducting various events to make the civil population relive the undaunted bravery and courage of Indian soldiers.The event is open to the general public.
