A spokesman of Horticulture department said here today that till date, 1,15,47,151 boxes of apples have been exported to major markets in the country from the state. Royal Delicious A quality medium grade was sold for Rs.780 per box of 20 kg capacity, Red Delicious for Rs.600 and Golden Delicious for Rs.470 per box. He said 11,629 metric tonnes of apples have been procured under market intervention scheme by HPMC and HIMFED.
