Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on his day’s tour of Doon assembly segment in Solan district today dedicated and laid foundation stones of developmental projects around Rs.60 crore.
He inaugurated the upgradation of Kotla-Haripur road completed with an outlay of Rs. 2.16 crore, Rs.6.36 crore bridge on Baddi-Shitalpur road and 66 KV electric Sub-Station at Malpur with completion cost of Rs.23 crore. This would fulfill the power needs of the people of Malpur and Sandholi Panchayats besides industrial consumers.
He also laid the foundation stones of Primary Health Centre at Haripur to cost Rs.1.38 crore, Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Patta Mehlog to cost Rs. 6.61 crore and 33KV electric sub-station at Goyla to cost Rs 8.56 crore. The sub station will facilitate uninterrupted electric supply to Gram Panchayats Goyla, Dakaryana, Ghadsi, Chandi, Badlag, Khareti and adjoining areas.
Later, he laid foundation stone of newly upgraded Community Health Centre at Chandi along-with residential accommodation on which a sum of Rs.13.50 crore would be incurred.
