Ayurveda minister Karan Singh, 59, dies at AIIMS - Shimla Now

Himachal Pradesh Ayurveda Minister Karan Singh, who was undergoing treatment at AIIMS, Delhi, for the past month, died on Thursday night. He was suffering from lung and liver ailment. He was 59 years old and is survived by his wife and son.

The cremation is likely to take place at Kullu on Friday.

A scion of the Kullu royal family, Karan Singh's elder brother Maheshwar Singh is a BJP legislator.

Karan Singh was inducted in the cabinet last year.
