The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday ordered the attachment of property worth Rs 2.29 crore, belonging to retired brigadier J K Narang, facing a CBI probe in a disproportionate assets (DA) case relating to his tenure in the Border Roads Organisation (BRO). “The property includes a palatial house in Noida and some bank accounts. The FIR against Narang was registered by the ED at its Shimla office on the basis of a chargehseet which the CBI had filed against him at a CBI court in Shimla on October 18, 2012,” said Bhupinder Singh Negi, assistant director (ED), Shimla sub-zonal office.
