Shimla, May 27 (ANI): In an effort to save forests in Himachal Pradesh, the state government has set up a satellite tracking system to find forest fires and launched awareness campaigns to safeguard the region's green cover. The awareness campaigns are aimed at educating local people to detect fires near forests and take measures to prevent them. Forest fires have emerged as a big challenge for the state fire department during the summer.
