Regular inspections to be conducted to check rising prices - Shimla Now

A spokesman of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department said here today that Department had directed all the District Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Controllers and Sub Divisional Officers (Civil) Pangi, Bharmour, Kaza and Dodra Kwar to conduct regular inspections of shops in open market to check the rising prices of onion and strict action would be taken against the black marketers, profiteers and hoarders, if found, under the law. 

He appealed to the consumers to contact the inspectors and District Controller of the department if any shopkeeper attempts to indulge in such practices.
