The Directorate of Women and Child Development, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Himachal Pradesh organised a One day Workshop on 'Women Led Development : Issues and Challenges', for Women Officers of Himachal Pradesh on 4th October, 2024 at Hotel Holiday Home, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. This workshop was also a closing ceremony for the '100 days Special Awareness Campaigns' (21st June, 2024 to 4th October, 2024) being organized under SANKALP: Hub for Empowerment of Women, Mission Shakti.
The Workshop was attended by senior women officers of various Departments like Food and Civil Supplies Corporation, State Audit, Prosecution, Health, H.P. Agro Industries Corporation, Agriculture, Election Office, Language and Culture, Animal Husbandry,, HPSEBL, Industries, Panchayati Raj, etc.
Ms. Nisha Singh, (IAS) Principal Advisor (Training & Foreign Assignment) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla and Director General, H.P. Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), Shimla, was the Chairperson for this Workshop. Ms. Kumad Singh (IAS,)Director, Agriculture, Himachal Pradesh, Ms. Kiran Bhadana (IAS), Director, ESOMSAHimachal Pradesh and Ms. Bhawna (HAS), Additional Director, Rural Development, were the resource persons who shared their views on the challenges, issues and way forward for increasing female Labour Force Participation Rate.
Ms. Rupali Thakur (IAS), Director, Women and Child Development, HP, conducted the brainstorming sessions during this workshop in order to churn ideas for policy making which can be conveyed to the Government to achieve Women Led Development in true spirit.
दिनांक 04.10.2024 हिमाचल प्रदेश के सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता विभाग के महिला एवं बाल विकास निदेशालय द्वारा होटल होलीडे होम में हिमाचल प्रदेश की महिला अधिकारियों के लिए महिला नेतृत्व विकास मुद्दे और चुनौतियों पर एक दिवसीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। यह कार्यशाला संकल्प महिला सशक्तीकरण केंद्र, मिशन शक्ति के तहत आयोजित 100 दिनों के विशेष जागरूकता अभियान (21जून, 2024 से 4अक्टूबर, 2024 तक) का समापन समारोह पर किया गया।
कार्यशाला में विभिन्न विभागों जैसे खाद्य और नागरिक आपूर्ति निगम, राज्य लेखा परीक्षा, अभियोजन, स्वास्थ्य, एच.पी एग्रो इंडस्ट्रीज कॉर्पाेरेशन, कृषि, निर्वाचन, भाषा और संस्कृति, पशुपालन, एचपीएसईबीएल, उद्योग, पंचायती राज आदि की वरिष्ठ महिला अधिकारियों ने भाग लिया ।
हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार के मुख्य सलाहकार (प्रशिक्षण और विदेशी नियुक्ति) और एचपी लोक प्रशासन संस्थान (एचआईपीए), शिमला के निदेशक जनरल, सुश्री निशा सिंह (आईएएस) इस कार्यशाला की अध्यक्ष थीं। सुश्री कुमाद सिंह (आईएएस), निदेशक, कृषि, हिमाचल प्रदेश, सुश्री किरण भदाना (आईएएस), निदेशक, ईएसओएमएसए हिमाचल प्रदेश और सुश्री भावना (एचएएस), अतिरिक्त निदेशक, ग्रामीण विकास द्वारा बतौर सोत्र व्यक्ति उपस्थित थीं। जिन्होंने महिला श्रम शक्ति भागीदारी दर बढ़ाने के लिए चुनौतियों, मुद्दों और आगे की राह पर अपने विचार साझा किए।
सुश्री रूपाली ठाकुर (आईएएस), निदेशक, महिला एवं बाल विकास, एचपी ने इस कार्यशाला के दौरान विचार मंथन सत्र आयोजित किए ताकि नीति निर्माण के लिए विचारों को निकाला जा सके जो सरकार को महिला नेतृत्व विकास को सही मायने में प्राप्त करने के लिए अवगत करवाया जा सके।
