मीरा बाई की 525वीं जयंती पर दो दिवसीय कार्यशाला का पोर्टमोर स्कूल में आयोजन 

संगीत नाटक अकादमी, न्यू दिल्ली और हिमाचल प्रदेश भाषा एवं सांस्कृतिक विभाग द्वारा मीरा बाई की 525वीं जयंती के उपलक्ष्य पर दो दिवसीय ""कला - धरोहर'''  कार्यशाला का आयोजन राजकीय आदर्श कन्या वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक पाठशाला पोर्टमोर में किया गया, जिसका मुख्य उद्देश्य आधुनिक नवपीढ़ी को कला और सांस्कृतिक धरोहर के प्रति जागरूक करना था। 

दिल्ली यूनिवर्सिटी के संगीत प्रोफेसर  शैलेंद्र कुमार गोस्वामी ने अपनी टीम के साथ मिलकर दो दिनों तक चलने वाले इस कार्यक्रम में मीरा बाई के भजनों और उनके जीवन पर प्रकाश डाला, जो सभी के लिए मनमोहक और ज्ञानवर्धक साबित हुआ। शैलेंद्र कुमार गोस्वामी और उनकी टीम, जिसमें हिमांशु,  गुलशन और  सुमित मिश्रा शामिल थे, ने मीरा बाई के भजनों और उनके जीवन की कहानियों को अद्वितीय ढंग से प्रस्तुत किया। 

कार्यक्रम में लगभग 500 से अधिक छात्राओं ने अपने अध्यापकों के साथ उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। दो दिवसीय कार्यशाला के अंतिम सत्र में डॉ देश राज शर्मा द्वारा मीरा बाई के आध्यात्मिक जीवन -  दर्शन की सूक्ष्म भाव - बोध अनुभूति छात्राओं को कराई गई।।दिल्ली से आए इस दल की प्रस्तुति और बच्चों के साथ उनके संवाद ने सभी को संगीत और सांस्कृतिक धरोहर के प्रति एक नई सोच से परिचित कराया।

प्रधानाचार्य  राखी पंडित ने संपूर्ण संगीत दल को सहयोग प्रदान किया और इस महत्वपूर्ण कार्य को सराहा। उन्होंने बच्चों को संगीत के महत्व और जीवन में संगीत के क्षेत्र में उपलब्धियों के बारे में भी जानकारी दी। प्रधानाचार्य द्वारा संगीत दल को प्रोत्साहित करना और बच्चों को संगीत के महत्व को समझाना अत्यंत प्रेरणादायक रहा।

प्रधानाचार्य  राखी पंडित ने इस आयोजन का हिस्सा बने सभी कलाकारों के साथ ही साथ संयोजक ओम प्रकाश का धन्यवाद किया और मीरा बाई के जीवन से जुड़ी प्रेरणादायक कहानियों के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया।

यह आयोजन निश्चित रूप से बच्चों को संगीत के क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ने और अपनी सांस्कृतिक विरासत को समझने की दिशा में प्रेरित करने वाला रहा।

The Sangeet Natak Academy of New Delhi, in collaboration with the Language and Culture Department of Himachal Pradesh, organized the Kala Dharohar initiative to support the education policy by promoting performing arts, lectures, demonstrations, workshops, and performances in various schools and colleges across the country. This event also marked the 525th anniversary of Sant Meerabai. On the 7th and 8th of October 2024, the program was hosted at Government Model Girls Senior Secondary School, Portmore, Shimla, with Mr. Om Prakash serving as the coordinator and Dr Desh Raj as stage secretary to the program  with Om Prakash as coordinator of this program.  

On the first day, the school principal, Ms. Rakhi Pandit, warmly welcomed the artists, teachers, and students in the school auditorium. Mr. Shailendra Kumar Goswami, along with his team, gave a beautiful performance and delivered an insightful lecture on the life and contributions of Meerabai. His words enchanted the audience, including the principal, teachers, and students. The discussion delved into Meerabai's bhajans, her life struggles, creative works, and the cultural and linguistic significance of her contributions.

On the second day, the team, including Mr. Gulshan, Sumit Mishra, and Mr. Himanshu, performed another remarkable presentation. Their mesmerizing performance left a deep impression on everyone present. 

The school principal expressed gratitude to the performers for sharing their valuable knowledge and shedding light on Meerabai's life and legacy, which greatly benefited the students' understanding.
