Chief Minister visits PGIMER to inquire about the Health of Chief Secretary

Chief Minister Shri Virbharda Singh today visited PGIMER, Chandigarh to inquire about the health condition of the Chief Secretary, Shri Sudripta Roy, who has undergone a surgery for brain hemorrhage.

Chief Minister interacted with the doctors attending the Chief Secretary and also met Smt. Chandna Roy, the wife of Chief Secretary and other family members. He assured the family of the Chief Secretary that State Government and the people of the state were with them in this hour of distress. He wished speedy recovery to Shri Roy. 

Dr. Yogesh Kumar Chawla, Director, PGIMER briefed the Chief Minister about the health of the Chief Secretary.

Chief Minister Inspects Himachal Sarai & Sadan.


Chief Minister today inspected Himachal Sarai and Himachal Sadan in Chandigarh. He directed the officer incharge of PWD to maintain proper hygienic conditions and maintenance of the buildings so that visitors did not face any inconvenience. 

He said that Himachal Sarai and Himachal Sadan had been constructed to facilitate the patients of Himachal Pradesh undergoing treatment at PGIMER and there should be no laxity in providing them better facilities. 

Shri Hardeep Singh Baba, Chairman, H.P. Buildings and other construction Welfare Board, Shri T.G. Negi, Advisor to Chief Minister, Shri V.C. Pharka, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Shri Ali Raza Rizvi Principal Secretary Health, Shri Madan Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner Solan, Shri Ramesh Chhajta, Superintendent of Police Solan, Shri N.K. Lath, Additional Deputy Commissioner Shimla, Shri P.C. Akela, Registrar PGI and Shri K.R. Saizal Administrator Officer PGI were also present among others.
