Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) today declared the final results of HPAS and Allied Services for 34 posts of various categories.
Pankaj Sharma topped the list of successful candidates of HPAS. The following candidates in order of merit have been selected for the posts/services mentioned against their names below:
Pankaj Sharma, Chet Singh, Surender Kumar, Samritika, Amar Negi, Dharmesh Kumar and Ghan Shyam Dass have been selected for Himachal Administrative Services (HAS).
Anil Kumar, Chander Paul Singh, Arun, Pratibha Chauhan and Karan Singh Guleria have been selected for the post of HPS.
Pankaj Sood, Ankur Thakur, Om Prakash Yadav, Amit and Alisha Chauhan have been selected for the post of Excise and Taxation officers whereas Navjot Sharma, Vasudha Sood, Kalyani Gupta, Jagdeep Singh, Abhishek Mittal, Kirti Chandel, Jaivanti Devi, Chanderveer Singh, Om Prakash, Sikandar, Nishant Sharma, Vivek Kumar Chauhan, Chet Ram, Piare Lal Sharma, Rajeshwar Bhatia, Kulwant Singh, Tawinder Kumar Chinoria have been selected for BDO post.
K.S. Tomar, Chairman, HPPSC said a new innovation system was introduced for the first time by the Commission for the candidates for giving interview either in Hindi or English which helped the aspirants specially from rural areas who faced a lot of problem in communicating in English.
He said more than 80 percent candidates gave their preference to Hindi language and better communication skill created an equal playing field to the candidates belonging to urban as well as rural areas in the state.
