Smt. Urmila Singh, Governor and Shri Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister felicitated the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Deepawali.
In her message on the occasion, Governor said that Diwali, the festival of lights symbolizes joy and happiness and celebrates victory of good over evil and light over darkness. She hoped that the festival brings joy and happiness into the lives of the people of the State.
Shri Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister while greeting the people on the occasion, has expressed hope that Deepawali would shower enlightenment on the people of the State and would bring prosperity to them besides strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and unity.
Chief Minister said that Deepawali is one of the major festivals of country and people of all regions and religions celebrate in. He also advised people to celebrate the Festival in traditional manner and wished them safe and happy Deepawali.
Council of Ministers and Chief Parliamentary Secretaries also extended their wishes to the people of the State on the occasion of festival of lights.
