Major fire in Shimla's British-era building

Shimla, Jan 28 (IANS) A major fire broke out in a British-era building in this Himachal Pradesh town early Tuesday, officials said. Fire breaks out at Accountant General's Office of Himachal Pradesh

According to the reports  the blaze started shortly around 4 a.m. today and still fire workers are not able to hold a control on fire.

Gorton Castle is one of the most striking buildings of the British empire .This three floored building with about 125 small and big rooms became the seat of the Accountant General in 1947.
