Himachal Lokhit Party slam BJP on corruption issue

Himachal Lokhit Party, on Thursday, blasted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for readmitting Karnataka's former chief minister and allegedly tainted leader BS Yeddyurappa in the BJP in wake of the coming Lok Sabha elections.

The Himachal Lokhit Party alleged that the way the BJP had acted on the probe, it proved that they had no plan to eradicate corruption from the society.

Senior vice-president of the party Babu Ram Mandyal, in a statement, on Thursday, said, “The party has removed persons like LK Advani from the top posts and has given positions to the tainted leaders. Thus, the BJP has lost its image and it will not be possible for them to form a government at the Centre after the next Lok Sabha polls.

The former BJP MLA added: “The party is captured by the opportunists who want to grab top positions in the government and the grassroot workers are being ignored. However, this desire of the present leadership of the party will not be materialised.”
