HP Sports Act 2005 may be enacted again: CM

Shimla, Oct 4 (PTI) Himachal Pradesh government is mulling re-enactment of HP Sports (Registration, Recognition and Regulations of Associations) Act 2005, which had been repealed by the previous BJP government, to regulate the sports bodies, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said today.

The Act was challenged by Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association in the court, pleading that it (HPCA) did not come under the purview of the Act.
